Who we are

D.O.G. DOURO, was born from the union of two lovers... of wine, of Portugal and by tying-in their lives. They have decided to bring to Switzerland what is the most authentic and true of Portugal. 

The wine that the Portuguese have the honor to assert "Our wine", one of the best in the world. Each wine producer that they went to meet has captivated them with the simplicity of his explanations on how he creates a wine full of stories to be revealed, rather than just growing grapes from his vineyard. 

There is nothing better than to hold a personal conversation sharing a good bottle of wine: it builds friendship, business opportunities and makes great memories last for ever. In such a way, in Geneva, in the middle of the pandemic, D.O.G. DOURO was created. 

The alliance of Daniel Oscar Glasner, (D.O.G.) benefitting from a a long career in wealth management and Mediator, and above all connoisseur of wines, and of Ana Miranda a fruitful blend of Portuguese, Brazilian and French cultures, a Dentist Doctor passionate about fine cooking (graduated from Le Cordon Bleu School - London), and above all connoisseur of Portuguese wines.

This beautiful story of passion can be now followed, on instagram @dogdouro, on this website and maybe in a pleasant place where we can be together tasting and enjoying a good bottle of wine and holding a wonderful conversation.

We are looking for producers who give their wines a part of their own essence and experience, a history of generations; producers who cultivate their grapes and wines in their own domain; women and men who cherish their land, their wine, their environment and their customers; winemakers who produce with passion, who fight against climatic, economic, pandemic and world adversities and who rise up every day to improve and transform their terroir in order to produce a wine of excellence.
