Cepage: TINTA BARROCA
Known as an unloved grape variety in the region, it possesses typical Douro rusticity, combined with unrivalled elegance and depth. Chosen by brother and winemaker Rafael Miranda to reflect his image and personality, it is authentic, austere and hard-working.
Schist soils, low productivity
Gastronomy Pairs well with intense meat dishes.
Winemaking
Hand-harvested in 18-kilo crates, the grapes are sorted as they enter the winery, then gravity-driven. Preservation in used French oak barrels.
