Description

Known to be an unloved grape variety in the region, it has a typical Douro rusticity, combined with an unmatched elegance and depth. Chosen by the brother and winemaker Rafael Miranda to be his image and personality, it is authentic, austere and of constant work

Wine-making

The harvest is manual in boxes of 18 kilos, sorting the grapes at the entrance to the winery, followed by the use of gravity, Stage in used French oak barrels .

Alcohol 14%.

Must be served at 16°C

Winemaking:
Manual harvest with choice in the vineyard in 18 kg boxes. Selection on a choice table. Gravity filling of the vat, controlled temperature fermentations. Aging in used French oak barrels.

Concentrated ruby color, the aroma is intense, where black cherries prevail. In the mouth the attack is strong, filling the medium well, ending with a lot of depth and aroma of dried figs.

Store and Serve Advices:
Store at 12°C. Recommended serving temperature 16°C, to be drunk at 18°C.

Food Pairing:
Goes well with well-seasoned fish and meat dishes.
